## ❗❗ Important-note <a href="#important-note" id="important-note"></a>

### 👍 Turn on Automatic Advanced Matching (AAM)&#x20;

For newly created pixel, Automatic Advanced Matching (AAM) is auto turned off. This will affect your audience targeting as your customers’ info won't be shared with TikTok.

<figure><img src="https://2177492188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F0iV3jZlFz74UvPDH7InX%2Fuploads%2FtMQnxK7bdjLbaQbYXVbC%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=2e8d0870-4fcd-4793-b531-65ba2c1bd2d9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Please walk through the following steps to turn AAM on:&#x20;

#### 1. Go to your TikTok Ads Manager&#x20;

Access the tab **Tools >> Events**. Here you see all pixels that have been created

<figure><img src="https://2177492188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F0iV3jZlFz74UvPDH7InX%2Fuploads%2FTJDkD6r0krUcMg7ViwVc%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=256c50d8-a578-4463-a185-1e2bb6adf225" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Choose the pixel you've just created in Omega

<figure><img src="https://2177492188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F0iV3jZlFz74UvPDH7InX%2Fuploads%2FXa5N6FIDQTWbz5YTmCEi%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=0ebb304f-7ff3-418c-897d-7c6f28fb30a1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 2. Turn on AAM

Once chosen a pixel, go to the **Settings** tab. Here, switch the toggle on to activate AAM, then all is done. You can confidently track your pixel from now on!

<figure><img src="https://2177492188-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F0iV3jZlFz74UvPDH7InX%2Fuploads%2FgQCA4IECztUxOLM2bTV1%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=6ccb67a5-2848-4c60-afca-103cb8fd6d4d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### 👍 Turn on First-party cookies

First-party cookies allow TikTok Pixel to track user interactions directly on the merchant’s website. This enables the pixel to collect data on how visitors engage with the site (e.g., page view, view content, purchases) and attributes these actions to TikTok ads.&#x20;

Without first-party cookies, tracking accuracy diminishes, as third-party cookies are often blocked by browsers, reducing the pixel's effectiveness.

Please go to the **Settings** tab, then turn on First-party cookies here:
