To start sending website's traffic to TikTok, all you need to do is to give Omega your pixel ID(s) and tell us where they will be firing on.
Go to your TikTok Ads Manager, then choose tab Tools. Click Events to go to TikTok Events Manager
Click Connect data source
Choose Web option, then click Next
Fill your store website url to set up a tracking place for your pixel
Choose Manual setup first
Make sure to choose the TikTok Pixel + Events API method
👉 Choose a name for your pixel. This name can be any, for your utmost convenience
👉 Skip step 2 to not duplicate events with Omega later
👉 Enable Automatic Advanced Matching to automatically scan customer info on your website to match web events to TikTok users
👉 Skip step 4
👉 Install TikTok Pixel helper to test your events firing on your store front
👉 Set up a customized business funnel as you wish or just use the default template of TikTok, then Next
👉 Simply view the implementation settings of Events API, no action required
👉 Click Finish, then your pixel is ready
Copy your TikTok pixel's ID here
Go straight to Settings tab
Click Generate Access Token then copy
Click Add pixel to create a new one
Input pixel ID
Input Access token copied from your pixel's settings, DON'T input a random array. Remember to turn the toggle on
Make sure to test if your pixel is working properly. You can either contact us and let us help (recommended) or do it yourself
TikTok Pixel Helper only shows browser events. If you've enabled Events API for your pixel to work server-side, Server events won't show up in the extension.
Please do reach out if you need help to ensure your server events are firing.
NOTE:
Due to Shopify updates, Purchase events are no longer visible in TikTok Pixel Helper, but rest assured that you can still view them in our app (with Events API turned on) and TikTok Events Manager.
You can always contact us and let us help you with your pixels!
