Place an order event is a conversion tracking event, gets triggered when a customer completes the order process.
🤗 Unlike the "Complete Payment" event, which tracks successful payments, the "Place an Order" event records intent, including instances where payment is pending (e.g., cash on delivery or payment failures).
Pre-Purchase Insights: Understand potential revenue and customer intent before payment is completed.
Checkout Funnel Optimization: Identify drop-off points and improve conversion rates.
Campaign Refinement: Use the data to refine ad targeting and drive more completed sales.
Go to Settings tab and choose section Events tracking. Tick the checkbox to enable Place an order event in Omega
If you are in Analytics tab please click into the popover, then click Turn on now to go to Settings tab.
1️⃣ Add Place an order event to an EXISTING TikTok pixel
In TikTok Events Manager, go to a specific TikTok pixel. Click Add events and choose Manual setup
Don't modify any setup, go to step 5 and add Place an order to Conversion event
Upon done setting up, wait for a few minutes or hours to see Place an Order event here

When creating a new pixel, in step 5, add Place an order to Conversion event
All done! Your Place an order event will be collected by Omega and send to TikTok immediately. Events will be shown depending on TikTok, within 15 minutes or up to 48 hours.
Place an order event will be tracked separately with Complete payment event.
